Description
Finally, something new My gallery was gathering a bit of dust so I thought I better spruce it up with a new alien
Calladracca
This 6 foot tall predator is a smaller relative of Dromeodrellus, but is just as aggresive. They can persue their prey over long distances and at high speeds, and use their long, dagger-like claws to grab hold of them. Unlike Dromeodrellus, Calladracca are mostly solitary hunters, and do not live in large packs. Instead they may live alone, or temporarily with their mate until the eggs are laid. On some occasions, they may team up with other nearby Calladracca to bring down prey, but once they've had their share of the kill they go their seperate ways. These creatures communicate using load screeches and growls, which can be heard for miles around. Prey often mistake these cries for other creatures, so are not as alert to the threat. Calladraccas will also use these calls to warn others that they are stepping into their territory. Mother Calladraccas, for example, will fiercly defend their clutch of eggs should anyone set foot near the nest, and are not afraid to fight to the death to protect their young.
a x-cyber-centauri-x original alien
Do not reproduce this alien, its name, or its information without my permission. Thieves will not be tolerated
Also, the initial sketch for this alien was done in a Biology lesson (got bored, lol ), so please forgive me if the anatomy is a bit shaky.
Link to Dromeodrellus if anyone's interested [link]
